Individual Therapy
Every struggle has a story behind it. Often, telling those stories can feel daunting and maybe even scary. You might even feel a twinge of nervousness right now at the thought of discussing pieces of your life with a stranger. That’s completely okay. Whether it's Trauma, anxiety, depression, loss, or something else; there is more of your story to be told. In therapy, I do my best to make our sessions a space where the telling of your story feels natural, safe, and valuable. It is through the telling and retelling of these stories that new ways of seeing, new feelings, and new insights can emerge.

GOAL Setting
I don't set goals for my clients but instead like to set goals collaboratively with my clients and allow you to lead. Goals often cover both of phases listed above: short term goals to help with distress and struggle, and long term goals for lasting change. Clients frequently report at the end of their time in therapy that they feel like they understand themselves better, and that they now know how to help themselves avoid the same old pitfalls or ways of being that have caused problems in the past.

Counseling
Even if what you are holding feels like too much and your struggle feels like it overshadows the life you want to live there is still space for change. As your therapist, I want to help you rewrite the narrative of your challenges and pains because there also is a story of change and triumph to be told about your struggle, and I'm excited to hear it.

“Even if what you are holding feels like too much and your struggle feels like it overshadows the life you want to live there is still space for change.”

“If each day falls
inside each night,
there exists a well
where clarity is imprisoned.
We need to sit on the rim
of the well of darkness
and fish for fallen light
with patience.”
